Growing up in the Ford household

Sue was the first person to introduce me to liver! Now I don't like liver but Sue, being the strong minded lady she was, wanted to ensure that Dawn and I always ate well rounded meals. So when Dawn said, "Mum, Lianne can leave that can't she?" Sue promptly said no! So I quickly learnt at Sue's house eat all your given. However there was one exception when Dawn and I mischeviously stuffed our pockets full of the fish and peas that we didn't want to eat. If only she knew! However as much as Sue gave Dawn and I firm guidance on how to be in this world she matched this with how welcoming she was to me throughout my childhood and well into my adulthood, whenever in her home. Camps at Kelling Heath are another fond memory that I hold of Sue and Tim. Well there are so many really and they will never fade. In term's of gratitude I am and always will be eternally grateful to Sue as she bore my best friend Dawn who I love as a sister. So thank you Sue for giving me this gift and your legacy will live on as you would want it, as in Dawn, Louise and Alex you have blessed this world with 3 beautiful children and their subsequent children. I know it is extremely difficult at the moment to come to terms with Sue's sudden and sad departure but in time we will all be able to look back with fondness instead of despair. Tim, my thoughts are with you particularly, you are a wonderful man who deserves better out of life but as I said the other day, burger bolgnase is always on offer to you in my home. All my love and respect Lianne x
